Tagong
A beautiful small town rich with buddhist culture and surrounded by amazing grasslands.
How did we get here: Shared Taxi from Kangding center (50 rmb per person,2 hours)
Sleep: Khampa Cafe and art center (120 rmb for a droom without a toilet) clean rooms and run by a nice person. no art or good coffee when we were there.
Do: Tagong monastery (20rmb entrance fee) really nice and also there is another monastery that is located 10 minutes walk outside of Tagong town (10 rmb entrance fee) is Ok.
About 2-3 hour walk east of town there is a nice nunnery that is located near a small beautiful village.
Bottom line: Go
