We crossed over to Tamil Nadu and made it to Kanyakumari, the very southern tip of India with the lovely Megan from England, who we first met in Munnar and later hung out with in Varkala. Together we had a great time exploring the town including some temples (one on an island and one where males aka Daniel had to take their shirt off), a fort and a bizarre wax museum ("why go to London?" as their brochure boasts, @ 60 Rs)!
We had no luck again with the weather which was still very cloudy - so we missed out on the supposedly beautiful sunrise and sunset of Kanyakumari. We parted ways with Megan and headed towards Kodaikanal with a stop in Madurai.
